Doll sweater knitting pattern PDF

With this knitting pattern you will knit a fluffy half English rib for a doll (length approx. 43cm).

The shirt is knitted from aran-strength yarn, for example Novita's 7 veljestä yarn. The shirt is suitable for a doll about 43cm tall, e.g. Baby Born. The shirt is knitted from the bottom up in the round. At the armpits, the stitches are divided into front and back pieces. The shoulders are knitted together, after which the neckline is continued with rib. The stitches are cast off using Italian binding, which results in a neat and very elastic edge over the doll's head. Finally, the sleeves are knitted by picking up the stitches from the edges of the armholes. The sleeves are therefore knitted "from the top down".

Yarn: e.g. Novita 7 veljeste, approx. 60g

Density in half English rib: 17 sts x 32 rows

Needles: 4mm rib, 4.5mm half English rib.
